Our Research

The new reality of neuroblastoma treatment we’re working on uses targeted therapy, oral drugs, low side effects, and targets preventing relapse or treating relapse without punitive therapies.

We’ve built an international team of research and clinical collaborators to ensure kids across the world have access to these therapies, and created a consortium of 40+ children’s hospitals and research locations (Beat Childhood Cancer) across the US to do so.

Our approach is two-fold:

Precision Medicine

We're driving targeted therapies in childhood cancer, and have been since 2010.

Stopping Relapse

Nearly half of nb kids relapse. We're using a drug called DFMO to hopefully stop that.

Beating Neuroblastoma

Patient-affecting

We drive clinical trials to beat childhood cancer, which are at trial now or can be within 6 months.

We love our researchers

We help to shape Beat Childhood Cancer - the consortium which operates our research.

States in blue have locations opening in 2017. States in green have clinical or research sites open now.

Our research is in 40 institutions, in 25+ states. We’re working to be in 50 institutions by the end of 2018.

Traveling is hard for families of kids with cancer. We’d like to be within a half day’s drive of the treating hospital.
